The ACD Ministers Meeting at the sidelines of the 62^nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly, which was organised by the Government of the Republic of Korea on 28 September 2007 at UN Millennium Plaza Hotel, New York City, generated constructive outcomes particularly on cultural dialogue within the ACD framework. Ministers and high-level representatives put their weight behind enhancing cultural cooperation in order to form solid foundation for more comprehensive relations among the ACD member countries.

The meeting, chaired by H.E. Mr. Song Min-soon, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea, provided opportunity for ministers and high-level representatives to exchange views on regional and international issues of common interests. They expressed concerns on situation in Korean Peninsula and unrest in Myanmar and upheld process leading to peaceful resolution. The meeting also took note of the results of the 1^st Meeting of ACD High-level Study Group which was organised by Thailand in August 2007 while endorsing subsequent meetings which will be organised by Republic of Korea and Kazakhstan.
